Our Master’s Tea with Bernard Gwertzman - Consulting Editor, CFR.org

Last Tuesday, we had a great Master’s tea with Bernard Gwertzman, consulting editor of CFR.org . He was one of the First Editors-in-Chief of NYTimes.com . He spoke to us about how the immediacy of the internet gave newspapers the opportunity to compete with television news for the ability to cover news quick enough to be relevant.

CFR.org has sought to carve out a niche for itself providing commentary on news stories as they occur. They also provide a daily brief e-mail newsletter which provides a summary of today’s top news stories world wide.

Mr. Gwertzman regularly conducts interviews with experts commenting on the top news stories of the day.
